Do you love “everything” bagels as much as me?  Every time I get a bagel (which is rarely to never in a place like DC) I gravitate towards the everything bagel.  I mean it has everything right??  How can you go wrong?  The only problem I find is that they leave you with some pretty serious garlic breath.

I came up with the perfect solution….Everything Cookies!

Everything Cookies 1

Another place where you can get everything all in one place.  Chocolate chunks, butterscotch, pretzels, coconut without the garlic after taste.  Yes, please!

Everything Cookies 2

Genius, right?

Oh and it gets better.  I have the top secret way to consistently make the best cookies you will ever eat. All your ingredients must be at room temperature (especially the eggs and butter) and then after mixing everything, you refridgerate the dough.  This will result in long lasting, chewy cookies.  Good thing, because I get to share these fabulous cookies with the lovely Amanda from MarocMama! Being in the Leftovers club is pretty awesome!

These were quite a hit at our Super Bowl party.  I suggest making them for all of your friends.  They will love you even more than they already do. I promise. I have complained many, many times about the fact that we live on the fifth floor of a walkup. In reality, it’s a love-hate relationship. On one hand, we’re closer to the top of the building for rooftop access, I get a great workout every time I come home, and I’ve always felt safer up…

I come from a family of sweet tooth-s; everyone takes “small slivers” of each dessert and there are always plenty of cookies, pies, cakes, and puddings at family gatherings.  My grandpa keeps a stock of sweets like Honey Buns and a full cookie jar.  Since he moved into a new place, I wanted to make…

Father’s Day weekend is always so much fun! Weather couldn’t have been nicer. We decided to go strawberry picking. Kids had a great time. Looking at the strawberries, I must say, they needed some more time to ripen. Nevertheless we had a great time walking through the strawberry bushes rows and picking our favorite strawberries….
