Homemade Cornbread Recipe

- 1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Cornmeal yellow
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
Preheat oven to 200 degrees C (400 degrees F). Spray or lightly grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt and baking powder in a large bowl.
In another medium bowl, whisk egg, milk and vegetable oil until well combined.
Mix the wet mixture into dry mixture and combine until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Insert a toothpick into the center of the loaf and check if it comes out clean.
