How To Make Bbq Shrimp Recipe ?
- 1 lb large shrimp, deveined and shells removed (20 to a pound)
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 drops of Worcestershire sauce
Whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. place shrimp in a plastic resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the shrimp and seal the bag. Refrigerate and marinate for 2 hours.
Thread shrimp on bamboo skewers. Place shrimp on medium hot grill with flame or heat source at least 6 to 8 inches from shrimp. The shrimp will cook very quickly 3 to 4 minutes maximum. Turn once during cooking. Watch them very closely.
I always sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on my shrimp as soon as they come off the grill. Serve with French fries and cold slaw.
Tip: Often times I will wrap each of the shrimp in a half a piece of bacon. I partially cook the bacon in the microwave. Then wrap it around the shrimp prior to putting them on the grill. I secure the bacon ends with a toothpick. The bacon gives the shrimp an added flavor and, my family likes it.

2 large cloves of garlic, smashed
1 serrano chili, seeded and chopped
3/4 cup pineapple juice
3 tbls lemon juice
3 tbls olive oil
1 tbl chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1. Place all ingredients in a jar with a lid and shake well to mix. Place shrimp in a resealable plastic bag and pour marinade over shrimp. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
2. After marinating, place shrimp on medium hot barbecue grill at least 6 to 8 inches form the coals or heat source. Cook about 3 to 4 minutes or until shrimp began to turn pink. Yurn once during cooking. Serve with rice.
