It is very simple and special to make the meatloaf. Basically, meatloaf uses meat and the main ingredient and it is also nice to add another ingredient such as carrot or the other vegetables. More than that, the sauces makes the meatloaf different in taste for example, mushroom sauce, barbeque sauce and many more. Here is a basic recipe for traditional meatloaf.

  • 300 gram of lean ground beef
  • 5 pieces of bacon
  • 100 grams of carrot that has been diced and boiled
  • 8 pieces of green bean
  • 50 grams of mushroom
  • 50 grams of cheese
  • 1 piece of onion
  • 2 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
  • 3 eggs which has been beaten off
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • half teaspoon of oregano
  • half teaspoon of nutmeg
  • half teaspoon of chopped parsley
  • half teaspoon of basil
  • half teaspoon of pepper

Sauce ingredients

  • A half of chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon of tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Pepper
  • 150 ml of water


  • Firstly, set the oven in 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Mix the beef, bacon, carrot, mushroom, cheese, onion, and breadcrumbs and stir them well
  • After that, add the tomato sauce, salt, pepper, nutmeg, parsley, oregano, and basil as well
  • Pour over the trapezoid loaf pan that has been spread with margarine and put in the aluminium foil
  • Put the raw meatloaf in the oven for 45 minutes
  • For the sauce, cooked all the ingredients until it is smell good and add water for the last step. Cooked until it is bubbling
  • Serve the meatloaf with the sauce.
