Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe avocados (peeled and mashed) sprinkled with lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbs chopped mild green chiles
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tbl grated fresh onion
  • 1 tomato, peeled and chopped (optional)
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients, salt to taste and squeeze juice of l/2 lemon over the top to discourage avocados from turning brown. Cover and place in the refrigerater for about an hour to let the flavors blend.

Notes

Variations:
add to above ingredients 
1/2 peeled and skinned tomato, chopped
OR
1 tbs fresh cilantro, chopped

3 slices of crisp bacon, crumbled
